Не, ну выпили-закусили, как люди после смены. Приехал домой, сходил в лабаз, еды на сутки приобрел. Прибрался, Веру Мухину на грудь и спать. И снится мне мой любимый водопад Анхель. Но потом, по ряду косвенных, понимаю - не снится. Горячий выбило. Рефлексы в норме. Сначала вниз к соседу(живой и не ошпаренный), потом закрыть. Потом стакан, и звонить управдому. Моралите: прощай мечта о переборе русской печи в деревне.

That escalated quickly! I thought this was going to be a story about a nice evening, a good night's sleep, and a pleasant dream. Instead, it turned into a real-life emergency.
It's actually pretty scary that you only realized something was wrong because the heat felt unusual in your "dream." Good thing your reflexes were still working and you reacted fast enough to check on the neighbors and call the building manager. Things could have ended much worse.

My dear overseas friend! This is a common practice for a federal rescue worker, those who have not yet received a pension.
But don't be discouraged! Since my post, I have become much more responsible. Now before you go on a "journey", I turn off all communications.
