GIS Co-ordinator

This position is responsible for providing the Marketing organisation with the highest level of service at all times in terms of Geographical Information analysis & reporting and supporting team.

Principal accountabilities

• Perform Business Administrator role for the GIS solution for Russia
  Responsible for all business related backend tasks(Creation of data inputs, Visual report creations, Visual analysis, etc)
  Ensure the availability, stability and functionality of GIS system at all times through IT
  Follow up with IT & /or external provider with regards to change requests, business requirements for new developments, whilst ensuring relevance and business continuity
  Maintenance of geo database (to ensure that the business gets maximum value from system) and ensuring the highest level of data integrity and quality.
  Co-ordinate with IT Helpdesk& /or external provider to fix any issues and run any system updates on the system
  Provide Functional Support & Training to all the users of GIS
  Ensure the maintenance of standard dashboards, reports and analysis and adhoc reporting requirements as may be needed from time to time.
  Support the team with information / presentations for meetings

Knowledge, experiences and skills

• A degree/diploma with 2-3 years of experience
  Advanced computer literacy
  Mastery in excel
  Working knowledge of any reporting or analysis tool
  Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  Service minded, proactive in resolving issues and problems
  Demonstrated disciplined and organised approach
  Ability to effectively communicate internally at various levels of organisation
  Knowledge of SQL syntax
  Experience with GIS, knowledge of MapInfo
