Arcinfo workstation - conversion

Hi,

I have a problem with a conversion script in Arcinfo workstation. I would like to import raster data in .tif format into GRID format and I used the image2grid.aml tool that I found on: http://gis-lab.info/qa/importraster-ai-eng.html.
I get an error when I'm executing the image2grid.aml tool. Do you have any suggestions for what I can do? or what I do wrong?I'll attach a image of the arcinfo workstation image with this error.

the problem is obviously with the tiff's names. You can't use dots in a tif name, so my suggestion would be to rename images (replace dots with dash for instance) and then do a conversion with aml. also you tiff names are quite long - it also may cause problem on your next step. So, reduce tiff names to smth much shorter (max 7-10 letters)
